What can be more awful than holding back the temptation to
have a Brown Bomb at Corner House!! Corner House is the best ice cream parlour
one can get in Bangalore. Their innovative flavours, the taste and the mouth melting
brownies are sure make everyone drool at their very sight. Corner House falls
exactly on my way back from work. With a lot of effort I have controlled my
urge to grab on their ice creams. Everyday I pass through that lane, I try talking
to my heart and mind. I reason out with my inner voice of cravings whether to
have ice cream or not. Finally, when I look at SOCH ( A Garment showroom) which
is adjacent to Corner House, I feel guilty to have even thought of having an ice
cream. The blue chiffon saree with the golden shimmer in it , just like Deepika
Padukone wears in Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani seems to divert my attention. I am
brought back to reality. I realize, I have to work out more in order to enjoy the
joy of both worlds. I call them world pleasures/joy because they are tempting.
Especially, for a woman like me who is an ice cream lover as well as a fashion
addict, life doesn't leave an easy option. Neither do I have the time and money
to spend on crash diets, diet or slimming centers nor have I inherited the lean
gene within me. Probably because of the wrong lifestyle I had been leading few
years back, my obesity gene seems to have been activated and since then I am
just trying. The goal seems too far with each passing day.
I slowly started having many medical conditions which
forced me to start following a healthy lifestyle. Balanced and healthy
lifestyle keeps conditions like Obesity, Diabetes, Hypertension and High
cholesterol at bay. They are all conditions which are completely
dependent on lifestyle and also on the genes. There are specific genes in our
body, for example- Obesity gene, which get triggered when there are external
factors like, high fat diet, lack of exercise and physical activity, stress,
low intake of water and high intake of sugar and salt. When the gene gets
triggered , different metabolic pathways involved in our body related to the
metabolism of lipids/fat go haywire. That's when we fall prey to different
health ailments. An aching joint, a bloated body, weakness, irritability and
many other symptoms which are linked to only one cause- Bad lifestyle.
What do we mean by a bad lifestyle? Poor diet routine, lack
of exercise and not having enough physical activity, restricted intake of
fluids, irregular sleep patterns, stress are all the parameters make an
individual lead a bad lifestyle. With the advancement in technology stress
levels have increased at work giving rise to mental stress and less sleep and
resulting in lack of time for exercise. The food we are eating might be
genetically modified thus weaning it off its essential nutrients. What do we do
when we are surrounded by things which do not in favour our health?
That's when we have to walk that extra mile in reaching our
desired goal. It has been described very well in the Honey Diet plan. It is one of the
best ways to move towards a healthier lifestyle. Leading a healthy lifestyle
with a balanced diet has got immense benefits. The first effect it has on
anyone is that it reduces stress. When we start eating good with adequate
nutrients like proteins, vitamins, minerals, fat and carbohydrates our
metabolism becomes better. Each organ in our body start performing well
because blood flow increases and the distribution of nutrients in the entire
body is uniform. The body does what it is supposed to. With regular exercise,
oxygen reaches all the tissues and thus it activates the cells. It also helps a
person to age in a healthy way. Crash diets are known to have an immediate
effect, but they have side effects too. As the word says, they crash the system
after a while. For many individuals crash diets work but only if the diet
pattern is maintained throughout. For models and those in the fashion industry
, there are special nutrition specialist who help them in planning their diet
even if they go on a crash diet. They have the right method to stay healthy. But, for every individual crash diet may
not work. In a crash diet, the body is starved of few essential nutrients
like, carbohydrates, fats and protein for a short span and once the results are
achieved the individual jumps back to the normal diet. There is a sudden and
uneven deprivation of nutrients which are essential for the growth and
metabolism of our body. In the event to get back to normal our system tries to
bounce back to its original state. That's when excessive weight gain happens,
followed by weakness. There are certain crash diets that allow an individual to
only consume fruits, vegetables and fruit juices for an entire week. It will
bring about changes fast but once the person stops continuing the same kind of
lifestyle health is going to be drastically compromised. All the lost
pounds will come back.
So a balanced diet is something which had adequate
quantities of carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins and minerals which are to
be consumed by any individual as per the National Institute of Nutrition,
Hyderabad and ICMR guidelines. They have laid down specific diet inclusions to
be taken by individuals in a day, according to their age and BMI ( Body Mass
Index). Many nutritionist follow strict guidelines and also suggest their
patients the best diet plans. It is always better to go for a balanced
lifestyle which is slow and steady instead of a crash diet. The body gets to
react slowly to the changes and the metabolism is maintained at a constant rate
with a balanced lifestyle.

I was also was in search of something that could help me
have a balanced and a healthy lifestyle, but I was not sure from where and how
to begin with. When I started searching for solutions which could save me time
and money I found this website http://www.daburhoney.com
which provided solution to all my problems. The Honey Diet plan that they have
introduced is just the best and the most balanced plan I have come across. It
works even better than Atkin's diet, GM diet or K for Kellogg's diet or even
VLCC slimming diet.
It seems doable. They provide a simple diet plan once we
put the details of our age, BMI, type of diet and lifestyle. The diet chart
includes honey as the major part. Honey contains more fructose and this helps
in breaking down fat and also contains minerals, specific enzymes and antioxidants
which proves to be a better substitute to sugar which that has more of glucose.
They help in providing opinion from a dietician who can guide us according to our
body type. They also provide fitness tips on the website. They elaborate on the
benefits of honey over sugar. Chef Vikas Khanna also demonstrates simple
recipes where honey can be substituted with sugar, just like making a simple chai.
Overall, they aim to provide us a complete solution in
leading a healthy lifestyle. Healthy and balanced lifestyle does not mean
one needs to starve for a short duration and then one can eat to heart's
content. It tells us to be regular, balanced and slow. Even though results will
be seen slowly, unlike in a crash diet, the individual will be healthy. Losing
weight is not called being healthy. When one's metabolism is upright and
working any individual is healthy.
Do skip the crash diet if you have started one and start
following a healthy lifestyle. Honey
Diet has got all the solutions. You may soon become sweet honey
for your partner.
